Over the past year, the Manhattan Marlins organization has provided a safe, fun environment for swimmers of all ages. Over 200 youth swimmers competed in the Marlins’ outdoor meet at City Park Pool over Father’s Day Weekend. A number of swimmers earned a spot in the Top 10 of the Missouri Valley Swimming rankings. Ruth Perez, named the Manhattan Marlins Swimmer of the Year, made it all the way to Mission Viego, CA to participate in the 2019 ISCA West Elite Showcase. Competing against some of the best swimmers in the country, Perez completed lifetime bests in 7 out of her 10 swims and received 3 medals. The YES! Fund gives to groups like the Marlins to allow youth the opportunity to be active and learn lifelong skills along the way.
